This conference is to celebrate Tudor Ratiu's 65th birthday with talks which are in other areas than geometric mechanics. The latter contributions are discussed in a conference at the CIB 8-11 June directly preceding the one proposed here.
The aim of the conference is to gather experts in elds of Tudor Ratiu's wide research interests to honour his research. It is also to honour Tudor's 17 years at EPFL, as well as his directorship of the CIB for more than 10 years.
