We aim to study the chemistry of the indole nucleus and to develop original strategies towards dearomatisation reactions of indoles in order to obtain biologically relevant three dimensional scaffolds (“drug like”) and to achieve the total synthesis of indoline-containing natural products.1,2 To this end, we developed synthetic methods via the Umpolung of N-Ac indoles and oxidative couplings of indoles.3,4
