Digital Humanities 2014 conference is jointly hosted by the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Local co-chairs: Claire Clivaz (Unil, LADHUL) and Frédéric Kaplan (EPFL, DHLAB).

Program Chair: Melissa Terras (UCL, London, ADHO).

Bruno Latour is one of the invited keynote speakers.

Digital Humanities is the annual international conference of the Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO), the umbrella organization of :

  • The European Association for Digital Humanities (EADH)
  • Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH)
  • Canadian Society for Digital Humanities / Société canadienne des humanités numériques (CSDH/SCHN)
  • centerNet
  • Australasian Association for Digital Humanities (aaDH)
  • Japanese Association for Digital Humanites (JADH)

The first joint conference was held in 1989, at the University of Toronto, coinciding with  the 16th annual meeting of ALLC, and the ninth annual meeting of the ACH-sponsored International Conference on Computers and the Humanities (ICCH).
