The Mechanics doctoral school of EPFL is hosting its annual "EDME MECHANICS DAY". The focus this year is on Advanced Solid Mechanics and we have the pleasure to have among us Prof. Norman Fleck, from Cambridge (UK) who will deliver a keynote on «Multi-scale foams and nanofoams».
The day features as well:
- Presentation of the EDME program status by Prof. Dominique Pioletti, Director of the Doctoral Program in Mechanics, EPFL
- Presentations of the new laboratories at EDME
- The EDME PhD award and presentation.
