ChE-602 - Recent Events in Energy seminar series
The Paul Scherrer Institute, PSI, is the largest research center for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. One of its main missions is to conceive, realize and run so-called large-scale facilities. With muon, neutron and photon beams, including at the new free-electron laser SwissFEL, PSI offers yearly, on a single site and within a single organization, 4 complementary techniques to thousands of Swiss and international researchers from both academia and industry. Beside its large scale facilities, PSI is also hosting 2 energy divisions: NES (Nuclear Energy and Safety) and ENE (Renewable Energy and Environment).
In this talk I shall present recent highlights obtained within the ENE division, several of which benefiting from the large scale facilities.
