The year 2020 is nearing its end, a disruptive year marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. As we are in the midst of the second wave and the vaccine likelihood seems to materialize, many questions remain unanswered about the future.

EPFL, like the rest of the world, has had to face this crisis and find solutions to pursue its missions of education, research and innovation. It is in this context that we would like to invite you to an online conference on the subject "EPFL and COVID-19".

We have asked Martin Vetterli, President of EPFL, to share with us the challenges and opportunities encountered this year, the lessons learned and his vision for 2021.

We will also have the honor of welcoming three EPFL professors who are very involved in the COVID-19 crisis and often quoted in the press. They will talk to us about their work and answer the many questions raised during a round table discussion, followed, by a live question and answer session.
