EPFL Photonics chapter Summer Hike 2026

The EPFL Photonics Chapter is happy to invite you for a summer hike in the beautiful region of Leysin!
The hike is planned to take place on Sunday June 14th 2026.
We hope to give you a chance to meet and chat with your Photonics colleagues working across many different departments.
For organizational purposes, please register for the event using this form before June 11h, 2026.

The travel costs starting from EPFL will be fully covered by the chapter, for those who have registered.
Note that if you register but eventually do not come*, we might ask you to reimburse the train ticket.
*Unless you cancel before June 11h at 23:59, by sending us an email.

The planned route will take us around the peak of Le Riondaz, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
The hike is of moderate difficulty, with a few steeper sections along the way. However, the goal is for everyone to enjoy the day together, so we will keep a comfortable pace and make sure no one is left behind.
