The EuroTechPostdoc Programme provides international research and career development opportunities for high potential experienced researchers. It is one of the first cross-country fellowship programmes co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
In 2019, 40 new postdoctoral positions will be available across the four EuroTech Universities (Technical University of Denmark, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Eindhoven University of Technology and Technical University of Munich) Following its accession to the EuroTech Universities Alliance, l’École Polytechnique Paris – L’X will be integrated as co-hosting institution for the EuroTechPostdoc Call of 2019.
The applicants should identify a host and a co-host from the EuroTech Universities and submit a research plan within one of the Alliance's focus areas:
- Health & Bioengineering
- Smart & Urban Mobility
- Data Science & Engineering
- High Performance Computing
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Eligibility rules:
- Experience - PhD or at least 4 years of equivalent research
- Mobility - must not have worked and/or resided in host country for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the application deadline
- Institutional Endorsement: Support from both the host and co-host
- Applicants must be able to carry out full time research
What: The fellowship provides a monthly contribution of EUR 2’625 to the salary of the postdoctoral researcher for up to 24 months. For applications listing EPFL as the host institution, the host professor must cover the remaining part of the salary to reach the regular EPFL postdoctoral salary, as well as other associated research costs.
