Established in Italy in 1995, Fondazione Oronzio e Niccolò De Nora aims at promoting scientific research in the fields of pure electrochemistry and its application to industrial production and environmental protection.
In particular, Fondazione Oronzio e Niccolò De Nora and Industrie De Nora S.p.a. endow graduate students and postdoctoral scientists with one fellowship every year regarding research and development projects in the following fields of applied electrochemistry:
- electrocatalysis for water electrolysis, CO2 reduction, and fuel cells
- electrochemical cells: design, operando analysis, electrolytes, separators
- electrochemical advanced oxidation processes
- coating technologies and corrosion protection.
Who can apply: applicants (graduate students and postdoctoral scientists) anywhere in the world, who have obtained their degree within 5 years preceding the date of application and no later than the end of 2019.
Funding and Duration: EUR 48’000 for 12 months.
Deadline: 30 September 2019
Interviews and Decision: December 2019
Starting date: no later than 15 February 2020
