What: Support to university-based, high-potential business cases from the Venture Kick programme with the aim of substantially accelerating their market entry. Support to proposals where a R&D or design boost can speed up the success of the deep tech business case.
Your project MUST be:
Funding & Duration: Max. CHF 150,000 for up to 18 months

Your project MUST be:
- Already in the Venture Kick process
- Already approved by a funding programme (e.g. BRIDGE PoC, Pioneer Fellowships, Innogrant)
- Rooted at a Swiss university or research institution (ETH Domain, cantonal university, university of applied sciences)
- Be beneficial to society
Funding & Duration: Max. CHF 150,000 for up to 18 months
- For: salaries and materials costs directly related to the project.
- Does NOT cover: infrastructure or overheads.
When to apply
- Informal access: submit a 1-2 page abstract to [email protected] well ahead of the deadline for proposals
- Proposal: 1 February, 1 May, 1 September and 1 December (every year) at 23:59
- Decision: after 3 months
- Interview (upon invitation) with GRS Board of Trustees
Application
- Fill out the project proposal form
- Letters of endorsement
- from a funding programme (e.g. BRIDGE PoC, Pioneer Fellowships, Innogrant)
- from (potential) customers, investors, industry partners
- If not independent: provide a Letter of Support from the Head of the Unit.
- Prepare an elevator pitch (3m)
