The study on K-stability is experiencing a rapid development after birational geometric tools finding its role in the field. Especially, traditional definition of K- stability by test configurations is replaced by divisors. It has been proved that a better understanding of good divisors will lead to unexpected advances in K-stability. In this talk, we will explain why good divisors play important roles in K-stability. During the first 30 minutes, I will give some basic preliminaries and background on K-stability. Later, to see the power of good divisors, I will talk about some recent progress on constructing K-moduli space and my own research on it.
