Programs within the H2020 European framework
If your laboratory is participating in an H2020 European project, one of your duties will be to assure the efficient management of the project in terms of administrative, financial, and personnel related tasks. For this, it is important to familiarize yourself with the structure of the projects and certain management duties that lie within your unit.
This seminar will introduce the contractual documents and identify the important information described therein. We will also summarize the regulations for the administrative, financial, and personnel-related management of H2020 projects; this will be complemented with examples and practical management tips. Finally, we will revisit the structure of EPFL central services and describe the coordination of project management among the various services.
We recommend that you follow this course during the first months of your H2020 project.

After this training, participants will have the knowledge and skills to efficiently management H2020 projects at the level of the unit.
