One of the manifestations of mirror symmetry in the geometry of Higgs bundles on a Riemann surface is the conjectured appearance of a BBB-brane (a hyperholomorphic bundle supported on a hyperkähler submanifold) in the moduli space corresponding to a complex Lagrangian submanifold in the moduli space for the Langlands dual group. The talk will discuss examples of this phenomenon, some coming from real forms of the group.
