Global Technology Outlook - what is changing in IT and because of IT in the next 10 years?
The Global Technology Outlook is the yearly prediction of IBM Research of the Future of IT and how this will impact Businesses around the World. It has e.g. predicted such emerging trends as virtual server security, optimized systems, pervasive connectivity and the rising importance of data and analytics. For the first time since many years, this year it concludes that a major event in the history of IT might be upon us, is the confluence of Social, Mobile, Cloud, and Big Data & Analytics a similar remarkable event as the introduction if the Personal Computer or the World Wide Web? What is the right way to approach Mobile at a Business level, how will future IT Installations cope with the rapidly varying requirements, how will IT allow Businesses to become more flexible in setting up whole business process chains? How to deal with the massive amount of data, even when we have excellent analytics? And, are our current educations systems still adequate?
Refreshments will be served before the seminar, in the foyer.
