Abstract
Semiconductor manufacturing requires exceptional cleanliness, precision and reliability. Robotics plays an essential role in handling wafers, photomasks, panels and carriers throughout the production process.
This seminar will provide an industrial overview of Stäubli Robotics in semiconductor manufacturing, from raw wafer production and front-end fabrication to advanced packaging. It will introduce typical robotic applications, including wafer and panel handling, carrier handling and transport, etc. The presentation will also discuss cleanroom requirements, robot design and integration challenges, supported by practical industry examples.
Bio
Guangjia Liu is Global Market Leader in the Robotics Division of Stäubli, a Swiss family-owned technology group specializing in mechatronics solutions, with global activities in textile machinery, electrical and fluid connectors, and industrial robotics.
His experience covers global business development, key account management, engineering and entrepreneurship across Europe and China.
He holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from École des Mines de Nancy, France and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, China.
