The Flagship Initiative aims to foster systemic innovation that helps to overcome major challenges for the economy and society and to promote transdisciplinary project collaboration.
Topic of the Flagship call 2024:
- Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences with a Focus on Human Health
A Flagship consists of closely linked and interdependent subprojects and is submitted by a consortium of several research and implementation partners from different disciplines.
A consortium consists of a minimum of three research partners (one of which is a UAS) and at least two implementation partners. In justified exceptional cases, two research partners are also possible.
The application process is a competitive 2-step procedure consisting of a pre-proposal and proposal. The submission of a pre-proposal is mandatory for the submission a proposal.
