Install Fests are an opportunity for students seeking help to install a GNU/Linux-based operating system (like Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, ...) on their computer, either in a virtual machine or directly. The event is of course also open to people who don't necessarily want to install it, but only know a bit more what GNU/Linux is, why we use it, and how it compares to other, more popular operating systems like Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.

The event is also open to more seasoned students who would simply like to meet a thriving community of FOSS enthusiasts on the campus, whether it's simply for chit-chatting, exchanging elegant workarounds and solutions to Linux-unfriendly environments and courses, or having one's PGP key signed. It's for everyone!

There will also be a Potluck, so if you plan to be hungry, don't forget to bring a little something to eat!

Looking forward to seeing you!
