The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) is the global federation of neuroscience organizations established in 1961 that aims to promote and support neuroscience around the world through training, teaching, research, outreach and engagement activities, and the publication of two journals, Neuroscience and IBRO Reports.
The IBRO-PERC (Pan-European Regional Committee) InEurope Short Stay Grants fund visits to European institutions by researchers living and working within Europe, so that they can acquire new methods or specific techniques that are necessary for their work.
The aim of the program is to increase intra-European mobility of young researchers by providing grants for short, goal-directed exchanges within European laboratories.
Who can apply:
- Ph.D. students and young post-doctoral fellows.
- 35 years of age or less.
- Only applicants from the European region will be considered.
- Applicants who are not selected in one round of evaluations may apply for a future round.
Funding and duration: maximum EUR 3’000 for minimum 4 weeks for travel and local expenses.
Deadline: 2 October 2019 (11:59 p.m. CET). There are two deadlines per year.
