Project description
February 11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. For this occasion, CERN, the UNIGE Scienscope and EPFL are offering schools the opportunity to bring women scientists and engineers to talk to students about their jobs (in mixed classes).
They are invited to tell their story, unveil some mysteries of science and conduct some small experiments if they wish. The idea is to change the perception of classes towards scientific and engineering professions, by presenting female role models. And who knows, maybe to create career desires, especially among young girls.
