This year the JATP Festival is thrilled to welcome David Murray Infinity Quartet to campus. David Murray was born in 1955 in Oakland, California. He entered the world of jazz music at a young age and has since been involved in a plethora of ensembles (World Saxophone Quartet-WSQ, David Murrey Octet, big band, smaller ensembles, duets, even playing solo), sometimes putting down his tenor sax to pick up a bass clarinet.
David Murray and his quartet will present a concert rooted in traditional jazz, with a fine selection of musicians: David Murray (tenor sax & bass clarinet), John Betsch (drums), Pepe Rivero (piano) and Reinier Elizarde (doublebass)
