Architecture students' projects are also on display in books!
In the frame of the EPFL Architecture Master's Projects jurys and exhibition (July 13-28, 2022, at the Rolex Learning Center) and the exhibition positions, which presents the different stages of the student projects (May 30 - July 21, 2022 at Archizoom), the Library offers a selection of recent publications resulting from the teaching provided at EPFL Architecture and presenting the projects carried out by the students in the studios.
The document selection is displayed from July 6 to 28, 2022 directly on the shelves of the Library's Arts and Architecture collection. All documents can be consulted and borrowed following regular loan conditions.
Among the displayed documents: discover the book set TRANSFORMATIONS, which brings together the four books GREEN DENSITY, URBAN RECOVERY, SUBURBAN POLARITY and LIVING PERIPHERY as well as an eponymous booklet, and which brings together the results of teaching and research work carried out by the Laboratory for Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) in recent years.
The library also preserves the theoretical statements of architecture master's projects since 1958 and provides online access to master's projects since 2003 in the EPFL repository Infoscience.
Finally, discover the documentation of teaching and research projects (drawings, plans, photos, videos, etc.) on the new Living Archives platform: livingarchives.epfl.ch
