Abstract: In this talk I will introduce a discrete model of gravity
preserving constraints of the Einstein’s equations. This model is based
on matrix geometry developed to discretize infinite-dimensional systems
such as Eulerian fluid magnetohydrody- namics and complex fluids. In
these cases we’ve been able to discretize underlying symmetries and
variational principles to construct numerical schemes preserving
geometric structures of the equations. I will discuss how to extend
these methods using ideas of noncommutative geometry in order to to
discretize the Einstein’s equations while preserving its symmetries.
