In this talk I will describe a procedure that leads to the construction of lagrangian subvarieties inside symplectic quiver varieties. We will see how this works on the example of the Hilbert scheme of points in the plane. I will explain what are the underlying algebraic tools, including Ginzburg dg-algebras and Calabi-Yau structures. This is a joint work with Damien Calaque and Sarah Scherotzke
