Abstract:
The Gross-Clark model is a coupled system describing the interaction of a particle in a Bose-Einstein condensate. We will look at stationary solutions (existence and numerical approximation) in dimensions 1 to 3. We will then look at traveling waves for this model, from the theoretical point of view by minimization under two constraints, and from the numerical point of view, based on stationary solutions.
