Abstract: I will introduce the Robin problem for the Laplace operator and study some properties of its spectrum, in particular: the dependence on the Robin parameter; the relation with the Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions and with the Steklov problem; the dependence on the geometry of the domain; Faber-Krahn type inequalities, etc.
