EPFL’s Blue Brain Project is hosting an open workshop on Thursday 4 May 2017 at the Campus Biotech in Geneva.
This workshop seeks to bring about informal discussion and the exchange of ideas between the simulation neuroscience and machine learning communities through scientific talks and open discourse. In addition, we hope this workshop will begin to lay the groundwork for bridging the gap between outcome and performance-oriented research in the field of machine intelligence, and the mechanistic and process-oriented focus of fundamental neuroscience, and provide an opportunity for synergistic collaboration, and exchange of ideas and working models.
