We study the map that sends a monic degree n polynomial f(x) without multiple roots to the collection of n values of its derivative at the roots of f(x). This map is closely related to the multipliers of fixed points of one-dimensional polynomial maps. We also discuss the multipliers of (finite) periodic orbits.
