In this talk, J.P. Aumasson will show the pitfalls and perils that hide behind two apparently similar concepts: randomness and pseudorandomness. From his daily experience as Principal cryptographer at Kudelski Security, J.P. will explain why some APIs and algorithms should (not) be used, referring to surprising examples of bugs due to bad randomness.
