About SNSF Eccellenza Professorial Fellowships:
SNSF Eccellenza Professorial Fellowships are aimed at outstanding researchers in any disciplines with a doctorate or equivalent qualification, who have not yet obtained an assistant professorship in Switzerland or abroad, who aim at pursuing a career at a higher education research institution in Switzerland and obtain a permanent professorship. Applicants must have an outstanding scientific track record and be capable of carrying out the proposed research project independently. Eccellenza Fellowships cover the grantee's salary and up to 1M CHF in project funds for max. 5 years.
