The purpose of SNSF PRIMA grants are aimed at postdoctoral female researchers in order to enhance researchers' scientific profile and to help them become scientifically independent in conducting their own research projects.  The grants are intended for outstanding postdoctoral researchers in all disciplines who aim to pursue an academic career as professors in Switzerland:

EPFL support
As Host Institution, EPFL welcomes outstanding candidates under the following conditions:

  • An EPFL Professor is ready to support and host the candidate for the entire duration of the project;
  • The HR manager, Director of Institute and Dean of School (or Head of ENT-R/I/E) give their approvals to host the candidate.

All relevant documents are available in the application toolkits prepared by the Research Office: Important: please carefully read the procedure description and complete the EPFL Registration Form in the application toolkit; we recommend that you start the procedure as soon as possible in order to collect all required signatures. Call deadlines
  • EPFL internal deadline: October 14, 2019.
>> Send the completed and duly signed Registration Form and Detailed confirmation letter with all necessary documents as described in the application toolkit to the Research Office ([email protected]).
  • SNSF call deadline: November 1st, 2019.
 
Applicant workshop
  • applicant workshop will take place on September 20, 2019.
  • If you already have a professor willing to host you (i.e the host professor has signed the Ambizione/PRIMA Registration Form), please contact the Research Office ([email protected]) with your host professor in cc to get the link to the registration form for the application workshop.
