Ingénieur-e-s du Monde and EPFL Pavilions are pleased to continue their collaboration with the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) by offering a new special screening on campus during the week of the festival.

Simon Klaus's captivating documentary Hacking Hate will be in the spotlight. Faced with the omnipresence of social networks and the worrying rise of the far right, Swedish journalist My Vingren infiltrates a neo-Nazi network on the web in order to denounce their speeches and actions. The film examines the role of digital platforms in spreading hatred.

The evening's guest speaker, Olivier Glassey, is a lecturer at Unil's Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and a sociologist specialising in the social uses of digital technology. A moderated discussion and an exchange with the audience will follow the screening of the film to further the debate.

An aperitif will round off the evening. The event is free and open to all.
