This Summer School is intended as an introduction to the thematics of the program. It will focus on the theory of random walks on groups and graphs and its relation to the geometric group theory, and on the interplay between probability models (such as percolation) and properties of Cayley graphs.

The speakers at the Summer School include Kate Juschenko (Northwestern University), Gabor Pete (Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics) and Hugo Duminil (Université de Genève).

Among the topics covered are amenability, percolation on groups and random walks.

The school will consist of mini-courses completed by research talks by experts, presentations by participants, problem and discussion sessions.

Graduate students (as well as postdocs and others interested) are welcome to register by filling in the above registration form. After submitting this form and all needed information and documents mentioned, The CIB will book a single hotel room from 2 August for a maximum of 6 nights and will pay for it.
