Mechanisms that determine the rate of ageing in Drosophila
Casey Bergman (University of Manchester):
Genome annotation and functional genomics
We plan to begin with coffee and croissants at 9:30, which should give you plenty of time to arrive even from the farthest reaches of scientific Switzerland (for arrival and venue information click the link on the left). However, if you prefer to stay overnight, there plenty of hotels in Lausanne, for a list click here; hotels AlaGare and Elite are conveniently located next to the railway station.
We anticipate 12 contributed talks of 15 min including discussion; as in previous years, the priority for talks will go to students and postdocs. There will also be a 2 h poster session. Prizes for talks and posters will be awarded. Following the meeting there will be a dinner in a nearby restaurant.
To register for the meeting and submit a talk or a poster, please click on registration link on the left. The number of participants is limited to 150; places for dinner are more limited and are allocated on a first come-first served basis.
Deadline for registration: February 15, 2012.
