With invited international experts and panel discussions involving EPFL professors from across all faculties, this workshop will help to answer the question as to what computational thinking will mean for the next generation of students in engineering and sciences. Speakers include:
Shriram Krishnamurthi is professor of computer science at Brown University. He is a winner of the Robin Milner Young Researcher Award (2012), and co-author of the best-selling book How to Design Programs (MIT Press).
Mark Guzdial is a professor in the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the inventor of the Media Computation approach to learning introductory computing, and author of the popular blog Computing Education.
