The Cooperation & Development Center (CODEV) at EPFL hopes to see you at our 4th International UNESCO Conference on Technologies for Development (Tech4Dev 2016) from 2-4 May 2016 at the Swiss Tech Convention Center!
The Welcome Address will be given by Prof. Patrick Aebischer followed by keynote speakers ICRC Director General Yves Daccord and UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences, Dr. Flavia Schlegel.
The 2016 Conference From Innovation to Social Impact focuses on innovative technologies in the Global South in the following fields:
- Technologies for Humanitarian Action
- Sustainable Access to Energy
- ICT for Development
- Disaster Risk Reduction
- Urban Development
- Medical Technologies
The Conference will be attended by around 400 participants bringing together researchers, representatives from NGOs, international organizations and the private sector.
