We will present a new way of applying the dispersion method to compute the level of distribution (in arithmetic progressions) of the convolution of two sequences.
The new ingredient is bounds for Kloosterman fractions (originally due to Duke, Friedlander and Iwaniec and recently improved by Bettin and Chandee).
We give applications to the distribution of values of multiplicative functions.
