Recently Peter Sarnak proposed a conjecture concerning the orthogonality of the Mobius function to zero-entropy flows. Distal flows form a relatively large class of zero-entropy flows. In this talk I will report a joint work with Peter Sarnak that his conjecture is true for various distal flows.
