Principal Investigators must demonstrate the ground-breaking nature, ambition, and feasibility of their research proposal.<br>\r\n An ERC Advanced Grant Principal Investigator is expected to be an active researcher and to have a track record of significant research achievements. The scientific excellence of the research project and the applicant’s track record are the only evaluation criteria.<br>\r\n<br>\r\n<strong>Lump-sum Funding & duration</strong><br>\r\nUp to EUR 2.5 mio. for a period of 5 years, including 25% overhead. For shorter project periods, the budget will be applied pro rata temporis. Additional funding up to EUR 1 mio., including 25% overhead, may be requested for well justified reasons; additional funding covers for example start-up costs for PIs moving to Switzerland as a consequence of receiving the ERC grant, purchase of major equipment, access to large facilities, other major experimental and field work costs including personnel costs. For applicants relocating to the EU or a Horizon Europe Associated country, additional funding for up to EUR 2 million can be requested.<br>\r\nThe budget submitted for evaluation must provide the details which allow the sound assessment of the requested resources. Payment of the lump sum contribution will be based on the work carried out and reported, irrespective of the actual costs incurred.<br>\r\n<br>\r\n<strong>New proposal format</strong><br>\r\nThe Extended<strong> </strong>Synopsis and the Scientific Proposal have been rethought in terms of focus and applicants are now requested to submit Part I of the Scientific Proposal (setting out the background, the objectives, and the overall research strategy) and Part II of the Scientific Proposal focusing primarily on the implementation). Thanks to this status, researchers in Switzerland are entitled to participate in COST Actions or to coordinate them and submit applications for new Actions. Call (JTC)</strong> on the theme of <strong>“Access to care.”</strong> This call invites proposals that aim to promote equitable access to, and effective utilisation of, health and care services across Europe.<br>\r\n<br>\r\n<strong>Aim</strong><br>\r\nCo-funded by Horizon Europe, THCS supports research and innovation that enhance the <strong>resilience, sustainability and inclusiveness</strong> of health and care systems. The call targets projects that address <strong>inequities in access to care</strong>, develop <strong>evidence-based and scalable service models</strong>, and provide policymakers with <strong>practical tools</strong> to improve resource allocation and advance integrated care.<br>\r\n<br>\r\n<strong>Consortium Eligibility </strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>At least three eligible partners</strong> requesting funding from <strong>at least three different countries</strong> participating in the call.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>At least two partners</strong> must be legal entities from <strong>two different EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries</strong>.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>Maximum of nine</strong> funded partners in one consortium.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>No more than two</strong> funded partners may come from the same country.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<br>\r\nSwitzerland will participate in the call through two funding partner organisations<strong> SNSF</strong> and <strong>Innosuisse</strong>.
