Just two days after exchanging with Théâtre de Vidy and welcoming playwright Jean-François Peyret to intervene into the Mental Work factory, EPFL ArtLab hosts another roundtable discussion around the
Nearly two-and-a-half centuries after James Watt launched the Industrial Revolution with the development of the steam engine, exponentially increasing the amount of power in human hands, Switzerland has developed a set of powerful machines controlled by operators' brains.
These machines are now installed at EPFL ArtLab, which has opened the first factory dedicated to the Cognitive Revolution. Join the three factory co-founders for a roundtable discussion about Mental Work as a futuristic workspace, a philosophical thought experiment, and an experimental apparatus for advancing neuroscience.
