Africa is rising. The use of smartphones and construction of new computing architecture promise a rapid growth in Big Data technologies in Africa over the next decade. In this q&a, the director of IBM's Africa lab, Kamal Bhattacharya, will set out how predictive analytics can massively improve management of limited resources in Africa - starting with traffic and water in African cities.
