Aim: SNIS is pleased to announce the launch of the Call for Projects 2018. The Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS) offers project grants for two years amounting to 100’000 to 300’000 Swiss Francs. Pluri-disciplinary research teams are invited to submit proposals in any area of International Studies or on this year special theme: The fourth industrial revolution and its implications for multilateral cooperation.

Specificities:
- PI and Co-PI: the call is open to professors and post-doctoral scientists employed at least 40% by a Swiss academic institution for the duration of the project. SNIS can only cover up to 60% of a part-time post-doctoral salary. SNIS funding does not cover the salary of FTE postdoctoral researchers and professors.
- SNIS funding available for up to 60% of PhD salary.
- Associated members: SNIS strongly encourages collaborations with International Organisations and NGOs. The team can also include researchers from abroad and local partners.
