Presentation
Morocco has made of the digital one of the levers of its socio-economic development. Its ambition is to become a digital champion, by offering a competitive digital economy ecosystem, and by setting up suitable infrastructure and training its youth in the latest technologies to become a producing country and exporting of innovative solutions.
The Moroccan Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform and EPFL laureate, Dr Ghita Mezzour, will detail the means implemented by the Moroccan government in order to take advantage of its potential with the aim of becoming an essential destination for investment and digital production.
About Ghita Mezzour
Dr Ghita Mezzour is the Moroccan Minister in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform. Prior to her appointment, she worked as an entrepreneur and as an academic on developing digital solutions that have strong socio-economic impact. She holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s and a bachelor’s from EPFL. Dr Mezzour has received multiple international awards for her work.
