Did you know that accessible files, such as PowerPoint slides or PDF documents, are crucial for students with visual impairments to study effectively?
Unfortunately, a recent study revealed low PDF accessibility in Swiss repositories, highlighting the need for immediate action.
To address this issue, this 90-minute workshop on Document Accessibility will empower lecturers, researchers, library and repository managers.
During this engaging workshop, participants will:
- Learn basic accessibility best practices
- Gain hands-on experience in creating accessible PowerPoint slides, Word, and Excel files
- Have ample time to ask questions and seek guidance
