The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the different modelling techniques available to materials scientists and engineers along with the basics to create such models.
Participants
This summer school is open to materials scientists and engineers, from both industry and academia, in particular PhD students.
This short course can be validated with 1 ECTS credit in the Doctoral school programme of EPFL, after acceptance by the corresponding programme. In this case, full attendance and a final examination will be requested. PhD students who give oral presentations in the afternoons will be exempted from the examination. students.
Students' contributions
PhD students presenting their work in an oral contribution will be dispensed of the examination in order to obtain their ECTS credit. The oral contributions will take place in the afternoons
