As summer days grow warmer, what could be better than seeking a little shade?
This summer, the EPFL Library invites you to discover its collections dedicated to shade in all its forms: a natural phenomenon, a subject of scientific inquiry, a source of artistic inspiration, and a literary theme. From eclipses to plays of light, from architecture to painting, from the history of science to works of fiction, explore a world where shade reveals as much as it conceals.
