After a strenuous selection process, the EPFL team, EPFLoop, has been selected to take part in the Hyperloop Pod Competition which will take place on July 22nd in the United States. For university and college students, this competition aims to create a prototype pod and test it on the SpaceX test ramp in Hawthorne, California. The only evaluation criterion is it must reach a maximum speed with a successful deceleration.
We invite you to meet the EPFLoop team on Thursday 1st March at 6pm in the Forum Rolex. In attendance will be Martin Vetterli, EPFL President, members of the advisory board Marcel Jufer (Swissmetro) and Mario Paolone (professor at EPFL) as well as the team leader Denis Tudor.
