We will construct an action of a suitable W-algebra on the equivariant cohomology of the moduli space of U(r)-instantons on R^4, and identify the corresponding module with a Verma module. We will show that the fundamental class of the moduli space is a Whittaker vector, as conjectured by Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa (AGT). A crucial role is played by the cohomological Hall algebra of the commuting variety. This is joint work with E. Vasserot.
