[ERC Synergy Grant 2024 Call | Research Funding]

The ERC Synergy Grants are for researchers who want to address a research problem so ambitious, that can not be dealt with by them and their team alone.

Call deadline: 8 November 2023, 17:00.00 (Brussels local time)
Submission: via the EC Funding and Tenders Portal.

Researchers based in Switzerland are eligible to apply for an ERC Synergy Grant (deadline 8 Nov) as part of a team of 2-4 PIs who would join forces to address ambitious research questions. No specific eligibility criteria regarding the academic training are foreseen for ERC Synergy Grants. PIs will be expected to spend as a minimum 30% of their working time on the ERC project.

The budget per project can be up to EUR 10 million (incl. 25% overhead) for a period of up to six years. Additional funding up to EUR 4 million (incl. 25% overhead) may be requested.
