[ FreeNovation Science Forum 2020 | Event ]

Established in Basel in 1989, the Novartis Forschungstiftung (Novartis Research Foundation) aims to develop and commercialize new products that contribute to the progress of humanity through advances in science and health. To encourage unconventional thinking and enhance the attractiveness of Switzerland as a centre for research, in 2016 the Foundation launched FreeNovation: a programme aimed at encouraging unconventional, radical projects related to biomedical research with the ultimate aim to provide healthcare solutions for patients.

Every year, the foundation organizes an event to present the supported projects.

Registration for the 3^rd FreeNovation Science Forum is now open.

At this event, the laureates of the 2018 FreeNovation call will present the results obtained in their projects, focusing on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: AI in Drug Discovery; AI in Clinical Development and Medical Practice; AI and the Patient”.

The event is open to scientists from Swiss universities and from Novartis.
