Focused work pays off! This is why we developed Flowlin, a smart object that makes it easy to stay focused at work by preventing interruptions from coworkers and apps. Started about a year ago as a team of 6 students from EPFL, UNIL and ECAL we have been devising Flowlin. Within 6 months period of time we managed to obtain functional prototype. In this talk we will present the problem that we are tackling, our solution proposition, business strategy and technology behind our connected device. In short, we will take you to a journey starting from the conception through design phases in Switzerland to manufacturing in China.
